They have new old members — that’s what it is.
The death metal band just lost drummer Eric Park and vocalist Mike Majewski, who have decided to bounce for other pursuits.
To fill the void, two of Devourment’s most hailed players have returned: Devourment co-founder Brad Fincher, who returns to the kit, and Ruben Rosas, who is back to take over behind the mike.
Bassist Chris Andrews has taken over the role of guitar.
The band commented on the reformation:
“Devourment mines it’s origins while marching toward a darker, ever more brutal future. Two eras ofthe Devourment legacy shift and combine in a completely new and deadly line-up. This hybrid monster is set to elevate the signature sound they created and deliver the definitive next level of hyper-brutal death metal. Nothing can prepare you for the Pure Apocalyptic Embludgeonment that is coming. Nothing.”
