Nuclear Blast has been surprising me lately with their signings. But really, this one should come as no surprise.
It is certainly a smart move, and one driven, I am sure, by the fact that the label now employs Soulfly’s former Roadrunner A&R guy.
Soulfly have left Roadrunner, and inked a new deal with Nuclear Blast.
This month, the band will hit the studio with Terry Date, who has produced tons of records you love.
“I’m really excited to be signing Soulfly to Nuclear Blast Records,” says Max Cavalera.
“On top of it, we’re going to be reunited with Monte Conner who I’ve worked with for over 20 years at Roadrunner. Soulfly’s new album is going to be recorded in Seattle with the great producer Terry Date, and it’s going to come out later in the year through Nuclear Blast worldwide. Keep it metal!”
So that happened.
