Soulfly To Tour With Straight Line Stitch

Soulfly. What can we say about Soulfly? You’ve got to love Max Cavalera because he’s done so much for heavy metal. And that first Soulfly record was the business. Plus, on the band’s new disc, Greg Puciato from Dillinger Escape Plan appears on a track. Soulfly is Soulfly, and you love it because its Soulfly. But is it groundbreaking stuff? No, dude. It tows the line.

Live, Soulfly are fucking phenomenal. They bring the energy, the fire, and the passion they have for their music to the stage and it translates well. Can you tell I’m not trying to rip Max a new one. Its hard.

Before the end of 2010, Soulfly will be hitting the road with Straight Line Stitch and Incite. Speaking of Straight Line Stitch, the band recently wrapped the recording of their next disc, The Good Fight, with producer Ben Schigel, who has worked with the likes of Walls of Jericho and Chimaira. Look for that effort sometime early next year.
