Soundgarden To Start Work On New Album

Cornell says the new stuff should materialize quickly

Those of you who enjoyed that last Soundgarden release will likely rejoice at the news that the band will likely begin working on a new studio album before the end of 2014.

That’s what the band’s singer, Chris Cornell, said while visiting a Los Angeles radio station they other day.

He claims once the band gets going, the new material should come together in relatively short order.

He says:

“We haven’t been in a studio writing, but because everyone brings song ideas in, it goes from zero to 60 really fast. All of a sudden everyone will have two things, and that’s eight songs you have to work on, and already you’re well into making an album, and that could happen tomorrow.”

Good times.

I know at least a few of you will give a fuck.
