That’s the word.
Stray From The Path cut short their “All Stars Tour” set at the Knitting Factory in Reno, Nevada, last night, following some sort of kerfuffle with security.
In a bunch of Tweets, the band explained that it “will not tolerate security guards grabbing kids by the throat for singing along. We will not tolerate our crew members getting assaulted by security guards when we stick up to defend our fans.”
The band claims they were 69ed from the venue.
“And we had the whole venue against them. And then the security guards come out to challenge us to ‘dance’ We will never tolerate assault on kids.
“That’s someone’s son, brother, best friend. They don’t deserve that. Ever. We do what we do for the kids. Nobody else, ever.”
Never for the paycheck. Ever. Not ever. Just for the kids. That’s why they only play free shows. Oh, wait.
