That’s funny to me.
God-fearing hard rockers Stryper have begun recording their new album, which should be out before 2014 on Frontiers Records.
Screamer Magazine spoke with Michael Sweet, Stryper’s longtime frontman, says the album’s also dark.
That’s not to say its fucking black metal, I’m sure…but as dark as a Christian band can get.
“Every song has a hooky guitar riff. Everything is in minor keys, so it’s a little darker sounding and a little tougher,” he says.
“It’s definitely our heaviest record and I think people will be pleasantly surprised.”
The six people who will hear it.
And that includes three people from the label. And Sweet’s mama.
