That headline alone should have given you goosebumps. Or better yet, a boner. Because after all, Suffocation kills it. The extreme metal band that makes me proud to say I’m from New York is going on tour soon and they’re bringing tech-death maestros Decrepit Birth with them.
Not only that, but The Faceless, Through The Eyes of the Dead, and Fleshgod Apocalypse will also be part of the bill. Called “The Decibel Defiance Tour 2010,” the trek is sponsored by Decibel Magazine and the Extreme Management Group. Routing for the trek is still being worked out, and so tour dates won’t be ready for another few weeks.
I love how these publicists are spacing things out now, releasing drips and drabs here and there so idiots like me will keep blogging about their bands. That’s just the nature of the beast these days. I wonder what Suffocation has to say about all of this amazingness.
“Suffocation is excited that Nuclear Blast, Decibel Magazine and Extreme Management Group have teamed up to deliver you the most heinous tour of the fall,” the band said in a statement. Heinous is an understatement. “This is one of the most brutal lineups for us ever including The Faceless, Through The Eyes Of The Dead, Decrepit Birth, and Fleshgod Apocalypse. We welcome you to come experience the devastating speed, mind-bending technicality, and relentless brutality of The Decibel Defiance Tour!”
