According to Blabbermouth, Testament’s bassist, Greg Christian, has been forced to leave the group’s North American tour with Lamb of God and Killswitch Engage for “personal reasons.”

I hope everything is alright. I hope this isn’t the first signal of trouble within Testament.

Maybe he left because he was tired of opening for bands Testament helped inspire.

Let’s be honest — that’s gotta be weird for Testament.

Starting with tonight’s concert at Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Exodus bassist Jack Gibson will be filling in for Greg.

“It’s an honor to be filling in for Greg,” Jack tells Blabbermouth. “I’ve always thought he was one of the best metal bass players alive. Testament is already family. Gene [Hoglan] is a god.

“This should be a lot of fun!”
