The Contortionist To Work With Jason Suecof

Good move, dudes.

Super producer Jason Suecof is the coolest. Not only is he a fucking solid metal producer, he’s a funny guy and a good friend. So I’m thrilled that The Contortionist will be working with him soon.

Guitarist Robby Baca says that the prog metal outfit will enter the studio to begin recording their sophomore release next year.

Recording will start in February at Audio Hammer Studios in Sanford, Florida, with Suecof and Eyal Levi behind the boards.

I’m actually looking forward to hearing the result of this union. It’s going to be massive.

An early-summer 2012 release through Good Fight Music is tentatively planned.

The as-yet-untitled album follows The Contortionist’s debut Exoplanet, which was released in 2010 through Good Fight Music.
