I have heard The Empire Shall Fall’s forthcoming EP, and it’s awesome. No bull.
Now, The Empire Shall Fall have confirmed a December 6 digital release for their new EP, Volume 1: Solar Plexus. Seriously, it’s progressive, it’s experimental, it’s forward-thinking, and eclectic. Really stellar stuff.
Meanwhile, The Empire Shall Fall issued the following update regarding upcoming future installments in the EP series. The band has also provided us with some live dates, which can be found after the jump
“We are excited to bring you some details about the release of Volume 1,” the band says. “We can now happily say that it will be released digitally on Tuesday, December 6th (via iTunes and other digital music outlets). The vinyl will not be completed pressing until the end of December, but we didn’t want to make our fans (who have all been so supportive) wait anymore. All those who pre-ordered will be emailed the download code several days prior to December 6th release as a thank you for your preorder and as compensation for the delay of the vinyl.
“Once we have the vinyl we will ship all the pre-orders (with all T-shirts, Hoodies, etc),” the band added. “Due to the special nature of this release we will not be taking orders for any vinyl from December 6th until the pre-orders ship. We will also stop taking pre-orders at the end of November; November 30th will be your last day to pre-order at the discounted prices and package deals. We have worked very hard on this first installment and cannot wait to share it with you.”
The band revealed “we are working on Volume 2 (and Volume 3). In the preliminary stage we can safely say that Volume 2 will be a heavier record (this is intentional, and goes with the concept). We have most of the songs in their skeletal structure, and over the next few months hope to polish things up so we can be recording in the spring (this time hopefully with a faster turn around!).”
