This band The Goat wouldn’t be down with, called The Great Commission, have a record coming out through Ain’t No Grave Records, which is somehow connected to Century Media, I guess. They’re the ones who let me in on the hot scoop today.
Great? They don’t look very great.
The Great Commission’s album will be called Heavy Worship and drops July 12.
“It has been over 2 years since we have released a new album and we are blessed that it will be with a record label that shares our same vision and purpose,” says vocalist Justin Singh, about their blessed new release. “With our new album we didn’t want to fall into the same old Christian Metal/Hardcore cliché. We wanted to create a new genre; something that was Worship driven, more than just music. We wanted it to be just as heavy spiritually as it was musically, that’s how Heavy Worship was born.”
How do you say blessed, people? I like so say it like bless-ed but I know some people like to say blesssssed, with the hard S? Anyways, so yeah — The Great Whatever have a new record coming, and we’re moving on.
