The Melvins have a new album coming out this fall called Hold It In.
That album will hit stores on October 14 through Ipecac Recordings and, as previously reported, feature Paul Leary and JD Pinkus of Butthole Surfers fame in the lineup alongside Buzz “King Buzzo” Osborne and Dale Crover.
Osborne said of the release:
“Hold It In is a refreshing piece of fiction in a boring world of fact and bullshit. Paul is one of the best guitar players I have ever heard and Pinkus has an outside the box type of approach to both guitar and bass that you just have to let it ride. I can’t believe this actually happened. I’m thrilled.”
The day after the album comes out, the band will hit the road.
