The Melvins Are Going On Tour

The Melvins

Before Coheed and Cambria’s Claudio Sanchez came along with his hay bale-mane, there was King Buzzo, the legendary frontman for Washington’s The Melvins. The band is straight up sludge metal at times, stoner rock at others times. Some tracks are progressive while others are straight-up rock. The Melvins are the total package. Hail King Buzzo.

The band, who recently released The Bride Screamed Murder, opened on Billboard’s Top 200 chart. Now, the band will be heading out on the road for a tour not to be missed by your or anyone you know. The band recently completed a seven-week national tour but missed several cities on the west coast including their adopted city of Los Angeles. No word on the openers, but here’s those tour dates, sucka.
