The Oath Are Over

The Oath

The Oath, who literally just released a record, are done.

The group, boasting Swedish guitarist Linnéa Olsson and German vocalist and my future ex-wife Johanna Sadonis, has been over for some time, too.

In an e-mail sent out this morning, Linnéa wrote: “Since our album now is released, it’s time to let you know the band is over — and has been for quite some time. See you in the future.”

And that’s all she wrote.

The Oath’s self-titled debut album was released on March 17 in Europe and April 15 in North America.

In late March, Sadonis appeared on the Disastercast and said nothing about the band’s demise.
