Because there’s literally no offer Sharon Osbourne will turn down so long as the price is right, there will likely be another season of “The Osbournes” next year.
The MTV reality show was a bona fide hit back in the day, but that was a long time ago.
The show ended in 2005, but sucked the last two years it was on. Everyone knows that.
“The Osbournes” basically gave birth to the celebrity reality series, if you think about it.
You can thank them for the Kardashians. Without Ozzy and Sharon doing it first, none of these other lame-ass shows you and the misses pretend to love would have happened.
According to Blabbermouth, Sharon said on a recent talk show appearance:
“Ozzy has decided that he wants to do another few episodes — not a whole season, about eight episodes — of ‘The Osbournes.’ It’s been 13 years since the last one. He said that for the whole three years that we did it, he was drunk the whole time, so he said he would like to do one where he is completely sober, as he is now…”
Oh sure. I’m sure it was Ozzy’s idea to get the family back under one roof for eight episodes of cursing and inaudible antics.
“It’s not forever. It’s no more than eight episodes. Because it’s been 13 years and our lives have changed so much, it’s a kind of catchup. It’s like, ‘What are they doing now?’ That’s it.”
Filming for the show will reportedly begin at the family’s California home in January.
