Too bad I never started my Fantasy Metal Label League. I tried.
Only two dudes responded to my mass email, and they used to work at Roadrunner. Used to.
If the league were active, I might consider picking up This is Hell, who recently took to Twitter to tell the world they are free for the taking.
“We’ve gotten a few messages asking about our label situation,” the band says.
“We signed to Rise for two albums and we’ve released two albums. Contract is up.”
So fucking there!
“We’ll probably record an album early next year. Not sure what label it will come out on just yet. Focused on touring on #BlackMass for now.”
In the meantime, This Is Hell will be touring wuth Xerxes. Those dates follow.
Go see them; they’re free agents, after all. I am just going out on a limb here and predicting the end up with eOne.
