And damn, is it foreboding and grim and very metal. Now THIS is a fucking tattoo. I mean, if it weren’t already the cover of In Flames’s Sounds of a Playground Fading, that shit’d be on my chest.
Or down my side. Or on my back region. I have no tattoos so…the canvas is wide fucking open.
There’s a backwards clock, a crow shrouding itself (at least to my interpretation) or being shrouded, with it’s rib cage completely exposed. Fucking grim. I love it. I just love it. What do you people think? I’d even get that tattooed on my ass! Nice work Dave Correia.
Sounds of a Playground Fading will be out June 21 via Century Media Records.
For some reason, I have not heard this record yet. Let’s hope Google Alerts help get me a copy of it post-haste. The disc is said to feature a lucky 13 tracks, including “Fear Is The Weakness,” “Where The Dead Ships Dwell,” and “Jester’s Door.”
