Not that he was being silent. Anyways, so, the other day, we told you that Twilight — the black metal super group featuring Blake Judd and Sanford Parker of Nachtmystium — had roped former Sonic Youth mastermind Thurston Moore in to joining.
Today, Century Media Records announced it has signed Twilight, and confirmed Moore’s addition to the group.
Says Moore in a presser: “We’re not coming together to make music, we’re joining forces to destroy all rational thought.”
“Century Media Records is proud to announce the signing of the black metal outfit Twilight,” the label adds. “Composed of some of the most talented members of the underground metal community, Twilight previously released two full-length albums (2005′s Twilight and 2010′s Monument to Time End) and is ready to begin work on a third album this August.”
The band’s upcoming album will be produced by the band’s Parker and will see a 2013 release.
The band also boasts Stavros Giannopoulos of the Atlas Moth, Leviathan’s Wrest, and Krieg’s Imperial.
For those unfamiliar with Twilight, here’s a little taste from their last offering.
