Tim Lambesis is moving ahead with his band Austrian Death Machine’s crowd-funded third album Triple Brutal, even though he faces serious criminal charges in California.
Lambesis managed to get his fans to cough up over $78,000 for the album earlier this year, and many suspect that Lambesis was going to use the money to pay for a hit on his estranged wife.
Who knows if that’s true, but it sounds plausible. And I guess that’s why Tim has to finish the album now, because it’ll help his defense. Just get right back to work, Tim.
“Tim finished all of his parts back before he went on tour in Asia,” says an update on the Austrian Death Machine Facebook page.
“He was just waiting for me to do my parts and put together the finishing touches on the mix of the album,” the update says. “I’m working on that this starting this week now that I have the files. The CD should be done soon and then we’ll start planning to manufacture.”
The message is signed “Ahhnold, AKA the Gummy Bear of Candycornia, AKA 7 time Mr Olympia, AKA The Greatest Actor in the World.”
Good to see Tim still has his bad sense of humor, even with the criminal charges hanging over his head.
Lambesis is currently out on bail.
He will be back in court later this month.
