I had no idea that Tim “Ripper” Owens (known for his work with Iced Earth, Charred Walls of the Damned, and of course, Judas Priest) is purveyor of an eatery called Ripper Owens Tap House in Akron, Ohio.
In two weeks, Tim will be playing a special acoustic show at his restaurant.
That set’s scheduled for October 14 at 6:00 p.m.
Stop by, and order some fries and a beer, and listen to the smooth, silky sounds of the Ripper.
In all seriousness, I think it’s rad he has his own restaurant. A wise investment, man…people always need to eat.
Glad to see Tim has a second source of income, other than the often-unreliable business of the music, as it were.
