Tim Williams’ Flat-Out Aggression: Delta Sleep

Tim Williams’ Flat-Out Aggression

For the seventh installment in his ongoing GunShyAssassin column, Vision of Disorder frontman Tim Williams has sent in a rather powerful poem we’re proud to be bringing you this morning. Enjoy!

Earth moves on the open plain, aimless in a ray of delta sleep.

I wish you well in all your living glory as I bake in the hot, hot heat.

Dream wars, a shadowy vengeance deep in the peripheral
I cannot grieve, for what is lost is lost forever in blindness.

Curse the constellation, collide and give me back the creatures I once knew.

Beautiful and loving beings
Orchids at daybreak
To smell the sweet pine
Beneath an ancient forest.

Endless whirling road beside a crystal colored jewel
Cast out high above an ocean, bluish eyes I never knew.

Your Blackness is the pit in my heart calling out your name
September can leave you sick, desperate and loathing for what was hers.

Beautiful and Loving beings
Evil in all ways west
To lick her sweet spine
Beneath an ancient forest.
