Times Of Grace Shooting First Video

The Road

Times of Grace, the band started by Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz and former Killswitch Engage/current The Empire Shall Fall frontman Jesse Leach — will be shooting a video this week for their track “Strength In Numbers,” the first single from the band’s much-awaited debut album, The Hymn Of A Broken Man, which drops November 9.

Yes, it is much-awaited. By me. Come on, Roadrunner — where’s my copy? I personally cannot wait to hear this record and I’m very excited to hear Jesse and Adam’s reunion. From what Jesse once told me, it’s going to be pretty brutal. I think he said it would be the Sgt. Pepper’s of metal. Rad!

According to a Facebook update from Jesse Leach, the band will be shooting the clip — or part of it — on “the old set of the movie ‘The Road.’” Director Robby Starbuck will be behind the lens for the video. “To say I am elated is an understatement,” Leach’s update adds.

“The Road” was a 2009 flick that starred Viggo Mortensen, Charlize Theron, and Robert Duvall and follows a father and son as they trek across a post-apocalyptic wasteland, where all manner of life has seemingly been wiped out and the sun, obscured. In case you were like, “I’ve never heard of the movie ‘The Road.’ What the fuck?”
