I just got the new Today Is The Day album. It’s awesome. But you won’t be able to hear it until August 16. Sorry.
Pain Is A Warning was produced by Kurt Ballou of Converge and will be released through Black Market Activities/Good Fight Music.
Led by visionary frontman Steve Austin, Today Is The Day reigns as one of the most unique and influential bands of the past two decades. The band’s violent and anthemic style, which blends metal, noise, psychedelia, and rock, has won worldwide acclaim ever since the debut album, Supernova, which you must own.
Pain Is A Warning is Today Is The Day’s ninth studio album, Pain Is A Warning, and Austin says the album contains “some of the most rocking, most epic music ever layed down by Today Is The Day. I am putting all of the hardships and triumphs of the past 3 years into this album. After many changes in personnel, Today Is The Day finally feels like a real band. We’re ready to go at it now harder than ever. We’re so proud to be recording with Kurt Ballou, a true friend who I’ve known and toured with since the 90’s, and to have the support of Guy Kozowyk and Black Market Activities.”
