That’s right, people. There is new Today Is The Day on the way, compliments of The Red Chord’s Guy Kozowyk and his label, Black Market Activities.
The band will start recording its ninth album — Pain Is A Warning — at Godcity Studios in March with Converge’s Kurt Ballou producing. The album follows 2007’s Axis Of Eden. The album will see a summer release on Black Market Activities.
“Pain Is A Warning is some of the most rocking, most epic music ever laid down by Today Is The Day,” says frontman Steve Austin. “I am putting all of the hardships and triumphs of the past 3 years into this album. After many changes in personnel, Today Is The Day finally feels like a real band. We’re ready to go at it now harder than ever.”
The band is rounded out this time around by drummer Curran Reynolds and bassist Ryan Jones.
