German progressive black metal outfit Secrets of the Moon have been working hard on a new album, and have tapped former Hellhammer and Celtic Frost frontman and current Triptykon leader Tom Gabriel Fischer to mix the disc.
He will work with V. Santura (real name: Victor Bullok) — who has worked on albums by Obscura, Triptykon, and Pestilence — on the mix of Seven Bells at Woodshed Studio in Germany.
“Back once again at V. Santura’s Woodshed Studio in the Bavarian countryside near Landshut, Germany, this time to mix the new album by Secrets of the Moon, Seven Bells, together with V,” says Fischer. “These sessions easily rank among the most fascinating, enthralling, and constructive I have ever been a part of. The friendship with Secrets of the Moon, which has begun in such a unique manner, shall hopefully persist for a very long time.”
Yeah, this band is fucking rad. I’ve been following this band’s goings-on for some time now and am really amped for the new shit. The disc will feature seven tracks, including “Goathead,” “Stillborn Icon,” “The Three Beggars (Satan’s Church),” and “Blood Into Wine.”
