Yuh. It happens.
Bands drop off tours all the time. But usually, they give us some indication as to why; a family emergency, a tour injury, the old “van took a shit” excuse. But not the Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza.
They have pulled out of their tour with Whitechapel, Ultrageist, and Stray From The Path like I do when a chick tells me she’s stopped taking the pill. Truth. But they’ve offered no explanation as to why.
“SAD NEWS: Unfortunately, we’ve had to cancel our tour dates with Whitechapel, Ultrageist, and Stray From The Path,” says the band in an online post. “We’re so sorry to announce it on such short notice and to everyone who was planning to come and see us, but please support these awesome bands! Be on the look.”
Because of this, the rest of the bands have called on the Contortionist to join the bill for the rest of the shows this month.
