It’s been well over a year since the Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza revealed they’d begun work on a new album.
Since then, there’s been distribution shifts with their label and other delays, leading some to wonder if the band’s fourth LP would ever surface.
Seems it will soon. Guy Kozowyk, Red Chord frontman and head of Black Market Activities, recently revealed on line that the album would probably be released soon, but wasn’t more specific.
So, rest assured — Danza IV will be released.
The band even confirmed the news online.
“Thanks so much for your patience. We’re finally going to have new album info coming within the next week or two. Release date, new tracks…stay tuned! If we ran Danza IV on limited vinyl, would you guys be into picking that up?”
No, but I will give the new album a listen.
I’ve always liked the Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, because that name rules and they’re actually pretty heavy. And they can play. That’s all.
