Remember when we told you that there was a second re-release of Nine Inch Nails’ debut Pretty Hate Machine, which just came out in stores? Well, that was not Trent Reznor-approved, it seems.
Reznor has basically disassociated himself from this new re-issue of Pretty Hate Machine’s “original master recordings” on his Twitter.
Reznor urges fans not to purchase the release, labeling it as “a record label bullshit move repackaging the old version…”
A remastered version of the landmark debut surfaced late last year, and was officially sanctioned by Reznor.
If you don’t own a copy of this record, that’s truly a shame. It still holds up all these years later. But then again, most Nine Inch Nails holds up.
