Isn’t that fucking rad?
I mean, when I heard Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails and his pal Atticus Ross where nominated for the score they’d collaborated on for David Fincher’s “The Social Network,” I figured he’d win. But I also figured that — by some act of injustice — there was a chance he could lose, and that would’ve bummed me out. But the dude won at the 68th annual Golden Globe Awards Sunday night.
“A year ago I had no idea I’d have the opportunity to score a film,” Reznor said during his acceptance speech. “The idea of standing up here to accept this award is surreal. It’s not a movie about Facebook. It’s about creativity and consequences. It’s about people.”
Well said Trent. And congrats, dude. Score more films, I say.
