Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider Blasts Paul Ryan Over Song Usage

Dee and his wife

Quick — name Twisted Sister’s most popular song.

If you answered “We’re Not Gonna Take It,” you’re wrong. The correct answer is “Burn In Hell.” At least that’s how it should be, anyways.

It seems Paul Ryan — in addition to loving Rage Against the Machine — is down with Twisted Sister. So much so that he’s been using the band’s hit “We’re Not Gonna Take It” as his intro music at political rallies.

This has Dee Snider fuming mad, and he’s not inclined to take it…at this time.

“I emphatically denounce Paul Ryan’s use of my band Twisted Sister’s song ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’ in any capacity,” Snider says. “There is almost nothing he stands for that I agree with except the use of the P90X.”

The P90X, or Power 90 Extreme, is a commercial home exercise regimen. Weird.

Twisted Sister has yet to threaten legal action, but expect them to if Ryan doesn’t change his tune.

Literally.
