I need to write about this because…I need to.
Where is the fucking demand for new Ugly Kid Joe? Who in the fuck has been waiting for new Ugly Kid Joe music? I mean, I haven’t ever cared about Ugly Kid Joe, but the last time I even thought about Ugly Kid Joe was fucking 10 years ago, when the lead singer was part of Life of Agony for a minute.
Yes, people — Ugly Kid Joe have reunited for the benefit of their tens of fans.
The band will release a new six-song EP, called Stairway To Hell, through all digital music formats come June 5; physical copies of the album will be in stores July 9.
The album features a guest appearance by Angelo Moore and Dirty Walt from Fishbone, on the track “Love Ain’t True!”
Other songs on the release include “Devil’s Paradise,” “You Make Me Sick” [Edit: My thoughts exactly], “No One Survives,” “I’m Alright,” and “Another Beer.”
Who is going to buy this release, other than the members of Ugly Kid Joe, their immediate family, and two dudes from Fishbone? WHO? I’m at a loss.
