Unearth Tap Adam D To Produce Next LP

Adam D

Not only is Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz a hilarious dude and beyond-gifted musician, he’s also become something of a super producer, helming efforts for He Is Legend, Shadows Fall, Overcast, and Norma Jean.

Now, Unearth have tapped Adam D once again (he produced 2001’s The Stings of Conscience, 2002’s Endlessand 2004’s The Oncoming Storm) for their forthcoming LP, which they’ve been working on as of late.

This will be the band’s first effort since Derek Kerswill’s amicable split with the band late last month. No word yet on who will be playing drums on the effort, but the band have enlisted Branden Morgan of Misery Signals to play drums on their upcoming European tour. The band revealed the move in a statement Tuesday, saying “We’ve chosen to work with Adam Dutkiewicz on the new album for pre-pro, tracking and mix. Pre-Pro started last week. Stay tuned for updates!”

Of course, Adam D and Jesse Leach have a new project called Times of Grace, which will release its debut in 2011. Gun Shy Assassin spoke with Jesse about the new project recently and you can read that entire interview right here.
