Vattnet Viskar Prep Debut LP

Vattnet Viskar

Whose Vattnet Viskar?

Shame on you for asking.

They’re a band on Century Media who last year released a self-titled EP.

Now, the New Hampshire outfit is preparing to unleash its debut full-length album, Sky Swallower.

The album drops September 9 in Europe, and likely a day later in the U.S., although that’s not confirmed.

The CD was recorded at Universal Noise Storage with producer Brett Boland and features eight tracks of crushingly ambient, blackened doom metal.

Formed in the fall of 2010, Vattnet Viskar has quickly risen amongst the ranks of U.S. black metal acts with the aforementioned EP.

Here is what they sound like.
