So, I was over on Blabbermouth this morning and learned there is a hardcore supergroup called Vehement Serenade. One listen, and they became my new favorite band.
The group will release its debut self-titled seven-inch single September 25 on Fast Break Records. Hear one of the tracks from the effort at the end of this post.
Vehement Serenade boasts Mike Couls of Skarhead, Agents of Man, and Cro-Mags. In fact, Mike was one of the victims in that stabbing incident earlier this summer.
The band also boasts Karl Buechner of Earth Crisis and Freya; Jamin Hunt of Sworn Enemy and Hatework fame; Eddie Ortiez of Subzero and Candiria; and Pauly Antignani of Sworn Enemy.
The two songs for the seven-inch were recorded and produced by Joey Z of Life of Agony at Method Of Groove studios in Brooklyn, New York.
Listen and love.
