The search for Velvet Revolver’s next pain-in-the-ass-egomaniac singer continues, people. Seems like that shit’s never going to end, no? I mean, Scott Weiland was fired two or more years ago and they’re still on the hunt for a new frontman. They must be auditioning some real amateurs! According to a recent interview, Duff McKagan says the guys just can’t agree on the right guy.
More dudes will try out this week for the Old Guns N’ Roses, according to a recent Twitter post from guitarist Slash. He says the band “is auditioning singers this week.”
Oh, but much more than that, Slash says that the experience of testing out new singers “promises to be very interesting.” In what way, though? That’s really vague. I wish someone from VR would actually speak out about this process already. And here’s a question for you all to debate in the comments section: Has it been too long?
Velvet have not been active in more than two years — is it too late? Does anyone still care about this fucking band? Is this singer search just a waste of time?
I still think they audition Axl Rose. Let him try out for the band. That would rule.
