Metal legends Vicious Rumors have a new label to call home: Germany’s Steamhammer/SPV. The label will release the band’s next LP, Razorback Killer, all over the world…sans for Japan. But thats cool. The band’s new album will be in stores in March and a press release claims that, on the new disc, “Vicious Rumors at their very best.”
The disc will contain 10 new tracks, filled with “killer guitars and melodies. Larry Howe is hammering on the drums, new vocalist Brian Allen has a wicked high range and power, while Kiyoshi Morgan is shredding on guitar and Stephen Goodwin is pounding the bass,” a press release says.
Mark McGee returns on guitar for two tracks, with leader Geoff Thorpe “trading solos and doing harmonies in the studio just like the old days.” The band even has a new logo.
Vicious Rumors is touring Europe at this very moment, and if you live in Europe, you should probably go check these guys out. They’re legends of metal and you need to pay homage, motherfucker.
