If you remember the 1990s, chances are you remember the band Temple of the Dog.
They were comprised of member of Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Mother Love Bone, and other Seattle area bands.
Well, they released one fucking album, and never toured, and basically, died with the decade.
Last night, in California, Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell joined Pearl Jam for a performance of the Temple’s classic “Hunger Strike” during Neil Young’s annual all-acoustic Bridge School Benefit concert in Mountain View, California.
Check out fan-filmed video footage of that shit below.
The event marked the first time the supergroup reunited since a performance to celebrate the release of the film “Pearl Jam Twenty” in September 2011.
Now that Faith No More is back together recording, I’d really love to see Temple of the Dog get back together for reals for a new album. I have a feeling it would pretty fucking sick.
