And that, my friends, is the fucking art for it.
I dig that shit. I’d rock that on a shirt, for sure.
Phil Anselmo’s pals in Warbeast have announced an April 2 release date for their upcoming album, Destroy.
The album was produced by Anselmo, and will be released through his Housecore Records label.
Phil, of course, is the former frontman for Pantera and now leads Down, Superjoint Ritual, and has a solo release coming too.
The album was engineered by Stephen “The Big Fella” Berrigan at Anselmo’s Nodferatu’s Lair studios in Louisiana in May and July 2012.
That album artwork and concept were designed by “Carcass” John Fossum with graphic and technical adviser John Deleon.
A CD-release show for Destroy will take place at The Rail Club in Fort Worth, Texas, on April 6.
Be there, bitch.
Meanwhile, bassist Dré Karst has announced his departure from the band, claiming he is unable to keep up with the band’s busy touring schedule due to his full-time job.
This means you could be the band’s next bass-slapper.
Yes, Warbeast “is now on the hunt for our next bass player. Please only serious musicians contact us about this. Obviously, we need someone that can tour constantly and that has a schedule that will work with Wabeast. So for those interested please send an email to [email protected]”
