So, on Thursday, I’ll be going to see one of my favorite bands — Watain — perform at Santos Party House in New York City. And fuck me with a toaster, I can’t wait to bang my fucking head as the Swedish black metallers tear shit up.
But the fun Thursday night won’t be ending after the band’s encore. They’ll be heading to Brooklyn after the show to host a party and meet-and-great at Duff’s Brooklyn in Williamsburg. That’s fucking rad, dude.
Of course, Watain don’t seem the “meet-and-greet” type, after all. So this is kind of special. And if you don’t like Watain, you are no longer allowed to visit this site. You are banned, mothafucka!
Watain kicked off its North American headlining tour on November 6 in Pittsburgh with Goatwhore and Black Anvil opening. The band’s new album, Lawless Darkness, is in stores now and is easily one of 2010’s best studio offerings.
