Watch The Lamb Of God Documentary On Palaces — Right Now!

You can’t stream it at the end of this post, though.

You need to go here to watch it. The audio sounds off, but whatever.

It’s cool to see old school pictures of Lamb of God. Dope to see my boy Chris Adler on camera, talking about one of my all-time favorite records.

It was even cool seeing Devin Townsend, my hero, discussing the genesis of this now-classic metal LP.

And that was just the first three minutes.

The documentary focuses on the making of the band’s album As The Palaces Burn, which was re-released today. There is another doc in the works about Randy Blythe’s criminal case, but that’s something different.

But let me just tell you: I thought there was no way to improve on Palaces. But I was wrong. Dead wrong.

The revamp almost sounds like a different album, now that Josh Wilbur’s given it a second set of ears and a fresh look at it.

I’m hearing stuff I didn’t hear on the original master of the album.

Nice work, Wilbur.

Shit’s tight, folks. Like your mom at 18. And it sounds huge. Like your mom today.
