Why Is Everyone So Excited About Triple H’s Metallica Entrance Music?

Triple H

I saw this over the weekend, and yawned. So fucking what? Triple H tapped Metallica’s “For Whom The Bell Tolls” for his Wrestlemania XXVII entrance song. Why is this cool? Why is every fucking blog putting up a post about this today?

I mean, I can see running something for the benefit of traffic, and hence, here I go. But do you think Triple H picked the song…really? Do you also thinking wrestling is real? He was taking on The Undertaker at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The Undertaker! I bet the guys who get paid to license music for the WWE came up with a list of possible songs, and ran them by H. He probably made the final decision, but this “coming out” song was first a suggestion from producers or writers or the show’s music supervisors.

Is it maybe newsworthy that he came out with Metallica instead of his regular theme song, which was tracked by the might Motorhead, who influenced Metallica? If you want to see the video, here ya go!
