Wormfood Postpone Posthume Album Release

Well doesn’t this just suck. French metallers Wormfood have postponed the release of their forthcoming album Posthume, according to a statement from the band. Bummer supreme.

“For reasons beyond our control, disrupting the release and the promotion of our new album Posthume, we had to put an end to our collaboration with our label Deadlight Entertainment,” the band explained on its Facebook. “Therefore, the release of the album is postponed. We are currently working hard with our partners to find a good and prompt solution.”

I guess they have to find a new label deal to get this disc out there. I think some label should step up and help these dudes out. “We invite people who pre-ordered the album to contact directly Deadlight Entertainment for a refund,” the statement continues. “We apologize to those who have expected this album for a long time, and assure them of our recognition for their support and understanding. We’ll keep you posted about further developments as soon as possible”

I wonder just what happened here. I hope Wormfood can figure this out and get the record to you soon. I personally can’t wait to hear it.
