I’m a bit of a prog nerd myself, so I’ve always had a thing for Yes — a band my dad introduced me to.
Next year, Yes has revealed they will perform three of their classic albums in their entirety, all in one night.
Yes will play 1971′s The Yes Album, 1972′s Close To The Edge and 1977′s Going For The One back to back, in concert, with no openers.
That’s phat. Last time I saw Yes, Porcupine Tree opened for them.
The 2013 dates follow at the end of this post.
Yes — bassist Chris Squire, guitarist Steve Howe, drummer Alan White, keyboardist Geoff Downes and singer Jon Davison — will kick off the North American tour March 1 and conclude it on April 12.
